The International Association of Strikes and Social Conflicts (IASSC) will hold its 8th Conference in Ghent, Belgium 11-12 June 2027, in association with the Commodity Frontiers Initiative.
The conference is held by the International Association of Strikes and Social Conflicts (IASSC) and the Commodity Frontiers Initiative, and organised by Amsab-Institute of Social History, Ghent University – Conflict Research Group, Ghent University – Global and Regional Histories and Ghent University – Institutional, Socio-economic and Political Issues in Rural-urban Areas (INSPIRA).
A call for papers will be issued in Summer 2026.
Registration to the conference will open early in 2027, upon further notice.
