The International Association of Strikes and Social Conflicts (IASSC) held its 6th Conference in Cape Town, South Africa from 4-7 February 2024.
The International Association of Strikes and Social Conflicts organised the Fifth International Conference on Strikes and Social Conflicts that took place in Rotterdam, Netherlands at the headquarter of the Rotterdam branch of the Dutch Trade Union Confederation (FNV) from 22-24 June 2022.
The Fourth International Conference on Strikes and Social Conflicts was held at the University of São Paulo in July 10-13, 2018. Its purpose was to discuss the proliferation of protests in contexts of capitalist crisis.
From 16 to 19 June 2015, the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) hosted the Third International Congress Strikes and Social Conflicts, organized by the IASSC,and the Centre d'Estudis sobre les Èpoques Franquista i Democràtica de la Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB-CEFID).
The second International Conference on Strikes and Social Conflicts was organised by the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme de Dijon from 15 to 17 May 2013, aiming to open new avenues for thinking about social conflicts in a multidisciplinary and global perspective.
The Institute of Contemporary History (New University of Lisbon), the International Institute of Social History (Amsterdam), The Archive Edgard Leuenroth (Unicamp/Brasil), the Centre for the Study of Spain under Franco and Democracy (Autonomous University of Barcelona) and the Maison des Sciences de l'Homme (France) organized the International Conference on Strikes and Social Conflicts in the Twentieth Century that took place in Lisbon between 17 and 19 March 2011.
